We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pizza Cook to join our dynamic culinary team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious, high-quality pizzas that delight our customers and elevate their dining experience.Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
- Handle food preparation tasks including dough stretching, topping assembly, and ingredient portioning with attention to detail
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards at all times
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, knives, and other culinary tools
- Assist in menu planning by providing input on popular toppings and new pizza ideas to enhance customer satisfaction
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety throughout the cooking process
- Support the team during busy hours by serving as a reliable team player in food service and meal preparation tasks
- Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is highly valued, demonstrating familiarity with food safety protocols
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on pizza making, including dough preparation, topping placement, and baking techniques
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments that require quick thinking and multitasking under pressure
- Excellent knife skills for ingredient prep and food handling precision
- Knowledge of menu planning principles to contribute creative ideas for new pizza offerings
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices in a kitchen setting
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
