Responsible for planning, implementing, and enforcing an organization's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.Responsibilities:Perform Safety and Environmental investigations.
Ensure that the company complies with all Occupational Safety regulations.
Advise management on safety and environmental concerns.
Experience in processing and obtaining work permits related to company operations. For example: permission for welding jobs, work in confined spaces, height work, chemical work, etc.
Assist in training programs.
Develop and manage EHS programs, procedures, and work instructions.
Create, maintain, and oversee the compliance calendar for all regulatory requirements.
Serve as a role model for safe personal practices.
Support development of job hazard analysis and risk assessments.QualificationsBachelor's degree of Science or Engineering.
Bilingual (English and Spanish).
Strong knowledge of OSHA and Safety regulations.
