- Recruitment and Selection Process: Promoting job opportunities to attract the best candidates to the company.
- Creating and maintaining updated records of vacancies by Job ID, including evidence of postings sent, candidate applications, and the final status of selected candidates.
- Maintaining candidate status in the CATS system.
- Updating recruitment process logs, including yearly recruitments, vacancies, selected candidates - job offers, and job fair calendars.
- Conducting interviews, administering and grading candidate tests, referring candidates for second interviews or skills tests as required, and following up on these processes.
- Contacting Temporary Employment Agencies to source candidates.
- Conducting phone screening for pre-selection.
- Printing received resumes.
- Telephonic evaluation of candidates.
- Referring candidates for interviews with Human Resources.
- Updating candidate data in CATS.
- Documenting resumes in the Talent Bank.
- Visiting various agencies to recruit candidates, especially minority groups (Women, Disabled, Veterans, and Section 3).
- Job Fairs.
- Visits to different municipalities.
- Labor Department Offices by Municipality.
- Consortia.
- Bread and Work Agency - TANF.
- Universities.
- Technical Colleges.
- Vocational Schools.
- Public Housing.
- Agencies, Foundations, and Organizations including the Women's Advocate, Veteran Advocate, and Disabled Advocate.
- Entering candidate data into the system.
- New Employee Induction:
- Ensuring job candidates complete hiring documents correctly.
- Completing Form I-9 and filing with corresponding identifications and E-Verify confirmation.
- Entering I-9 data into the E-Verify system.
- Registering New Employees in the ASUME system.
- Discussing Employment Contracts with new hires in the absence of the HR Manager.
- Responsible for entering new candidate information into the Timberline system every Friday.
- Preparing and organizing personal files for new hires.
- Coordinating schedules for New Employee Orientation sessions.
- Updating the system for temporary contract renewal dates, probationary contract termination dates, professional licenses, etc., based on approved changes from HR Management.
- Other related tasks:
- Assisting in coordinating meetings, seminars, and/or training offered by the HR Office.Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, preferably in Human Resources Management, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Management, or Marketing.
- 2 years of recruitment experience preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Outlook).
- Knowledge of social media management.
- Ability to create graphics (using CAVAS or Publisher) for candidate sourcing.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with active listening abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Ability to project professionalism and assertiveness.
- Ability to learn and apply Human Resources Management principles, techniques, and practices and comply with Labor Laws regulating the industry.
- Organizational and coordination skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and cordial relationships with internal and external personnel (government agencies, vocational schools, employment agencies, etc.).
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good time management, task prioritization, and meeting deadlines.
