- Manage the financial records of the casino, ensuring accurate and timely accounting practices while adhering to gaming regulations.
- Oversee financial operations.
- Financial Recordkeeping: Accurately record daily revenues, expenditures, and all financial transactions.
- Audits: Perform audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with gaming regulations.
- Journal Entries: Prepare and manage journal entries for various financial activities.
- Account Reconciliations: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and balance.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in preparing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, potential risks, and areas for improvement.
- Budgeting: Assist in developing and monitoring budgets.
- Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard casino assets.
- Cash Management: Manage and track cash flows, including chip transactions and cage operations.
- Compliance with federal requirements regarding Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorism requirements, CTRC’s, SARC, Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List, BSA, FTC, OFAC, Privacy of Information Act.
- Adhere to all gaming regulations and internal controls to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager; and complete safety training and certifications.
- Perform other reasonable supervisor job duties.
- Hospitality oriented.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required.
- General accounting knowledge, reporting skills, deadline-oriented, reporting research results, confidentiality and data entry management.
- Knowledge of accounting standards and bookkeeping practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical Skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including good presentation and report writing skills.
- Understanding of GAAP (General Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Prioritizing and organizing a variety of tasks and responsibilities.
- Must comply with all BSA/OFAC and AML policy and procedures as well as PRTC Regulations.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license, pass a background check, and be able to work in a secure, confined environment.
- Fully bilingual (Spanish and English).
