- Learn about the different processes and production areas to provide support where required.
- Understanding issues that occur in each production operation, to diagnose and identify through a deep analysis of the situation possible solutions based on OPEX programs.
- Identify knowledge gaps during project analysis and partner with the Technical Department to address any concerns and contribute to the areas in need.
- Plan and execute relevant projects that allow improving a problem in the processes or production areas, such: as waste, technical or operational reliability, production speed, among others.
- Execute and monitor the proposed action plan for each assigned project, ensuring compliance.
- Prepare executive presentations for management presenting relevant process updates and improvements.
- Analysis of productivity indicators.
- Ensure operational integrity and compliance with Smurfit Westrock Group procedures and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Required: Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical or chemical.
- 1-2 years of administrative and sales support experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Required: Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and minimum English level B2-C1.
- Required: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate/advanced level in Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new software programs.
- Diligent with great attention to detail.
- Possess strong collaboration skills with stakeholders across functions.
- Ability to set priorities, achieve deadlines, and manage multiple tasks at the same time.
