JOB TITLE: Infrastructure & Capital Projects – Sr. Project Manager - Utility SchedulerThis position is based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and you need to be willing to relocate to Puerto Rico or currently live in Puerto Rico to be considered.WHO WE ARE:We are Industry X, Infrastructure & Capital Projects. You have a solid working knowledge and experience in the engineering documentation and information management processes required to build and modernize physical assets, infrastructure, and buildings. You have experience and/or interests in digital solutions that can help clients do more. You are good with people and eager to learn new project and product solutions. You are comfortable supporting project leads during meetings and workshops, and able to support with material and content development.THE WORK:

You’ll consult with project managers and technical experts to set up assignments, tasks, and subtasks.
You’ll develop, implement, and maintain an effective scheduling management system.
You’ll coordinate project timelines with internal departments and external stakeholders.
You’ll monitor project timelines and deadlines.
You’ll identify potential project schedule delays and facilitate intervention in a timely manner.
You’ll evaluate performance and prepare project progress reports. Must be able to provide Earned Value analysis
You’ll accommodate updates and changes to project schedules.
You’ll recommend actions to keep project timelines and deadlines on track.
You’ll document project scheduling processes and maintain records.
You’ll develop and provide project schedule related reports including schedule quality assessments, earned value, cashflow forecasts and risks.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Bachelors degree in business or technical field.
5- 8 years related scheduling experience, or in lieu of bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 9– 12 years relevant scheduling experience is required. Must show demonstrated experience with cost and resource loading schedules.
Ability to build a schedule from an estimate, project diagram, or verbal scope of work.
Demonstrated experience with portfolio level scheduling
Strong analytical skills and evaluation techniques.
Extensive experience in schedule planning and management.
In-depth knowledge of the scope of projects within the utilities industry.
Advanced ability to evaluate schedule quality, project progress and facilitate interventions.
Ability to keep stakeholders informed of project timelines and changes.
Experience and proficiency in using PC software and mainframe computer applications such as Excel, Access, Power Point, MS Project, Asset suite 8, Primavera P6.
Ability to work flexible hours and in field construction sites.
