Our client, a vibrant coffee shop restaurant in Viejo San Juan, PR, is looking for cashiers, prep cooks, and baristas to join its team. The restaurant is located on Calle Recinto Sur #259. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and engaged.ResponsibilitiesCASHIER:
  • Greet customers entering and leaving the business
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area
  • Accurately process all cash and credit payments
  • Provide exceptional customer service
PREP COOK:
  • In the absence of the Kitchen Manager, you should review the food assortment on the floor and discuss the insufficiencies with the Administrator or Shift Leader.
  • Execute the tasks performed by the Kitchen Manager.
  • Maintain the kitchen and warehouse area in a perfect state of cleanliness and organization, including large equipment.
  • Develop attractive recipes that are profitable, present cost and suggest price.
  • Prepare and deliver all the day's production daily. (table #___ productivity)
  • Execute shopping itinerary efficiently, taking advantage of the convenience and proximity of suppliers.
  • Make the shopping list when necessary, efficiently (avoiding unnecessary trips) and taking into account that there are no excesses or deficiencies.
  • Make sure that refrigerators and appliances are functional, report any malfunction in the kitchen area and follow up on the repair.
Qualifications
  • Proven working experience as a cashier, customer service, restaurant industry and prep cook.
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively
