Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtechThe Manufacturing Engineering Manager oversees the technical aspects of manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality production operations. They lead a team of engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and implement process improvements to achieve organizational goals.Responsibilities:

Supervise and mentor manufacturing engineers, setting clear objectives and fostering professional development.
Design, analyze, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and ensure safety standards.
Defines and recommends engineering objectives; develops short- and long-range goals by participating with management in the decision process.
Work closely with R&D, quality assurance, supply chain, and production teams to facilitate seamless operations. Acts as resource and point of communication between engineering and other functions within the organization.
Oversees/lead engineering projects related to new product introductions, equipment upgrades, and process validations, ensuring timely completion within budget.
Stay updated with emerging manufacturing technologies and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree is required. Bachelors degree in Engineering is preferred.
A minimum of 6 years of related work experience.
Experience preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
Experience in supervisory responsibility is required.
A working knowledge of relevant GMP, ISO 13485, ISO 14971
Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, with leadership roles preferred.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
