- Promote and/or sell OFG banking/financial services and products, campaigns, special projects and Marketing events by phone or digital media to current clients as well as cold calling to potential customers.
- Ensure quality in all inbound and outbound calls to provide constructive feedback, ensure compliance requirements, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Promote cross sell products and profiling in inbound and outbound calls.
- Prepare reports requested by Sales Manager and ensure that these are rendered on a timely basis and with the required quality level.
- Verify and provide feedback on the experience using all applications, such as downtime, access and other system performance problems.
- Update customer’s contact and demographic information in the bank core system.
- Explain, and apply department standards, policies, procedures, and criteria when interviewing individuals to collect information and screen for services.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related fields required.
- One (1) year of experience in retail sales required. One (1) year of experience in a call center highly desirable.
- Minimum education and experience required can be substituted with the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
- Excellent consulting, sales, and interpersonal skills.
- Fully bilingual - English and Spanish (verbal and written) required.
- Candidates must be highly analytical, proactive problem solving, organized, detail oriented and able to multitask observing the defined quality standards.
- Demonstrated assertiveness in oral and written communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other business applications required.
- Availability and flexibility to adhere to branch schedule and operations.
