With a customer base of over 8,300 and ambitious plans for growth, our team is dedicated to exceeding client expectations and fostering a culture of safety, integrity, and innovation.*Position Summary:*The Sales Manager – West Area will assist the Sales Director in planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating the activities of the sales function across our market areas. This role involves managing a team of sales professionals, implementing sales strategies, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.*Key Responsibilities:*- Team Leadership:- Manages and mentor a team of inside and outside sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster professional development and achieve sales objectives.- Collaborate with the Directors Customer Experience and Business Development, and the Government & Municipal Manager to ensure seamless team operations.- Sales Strategy Implementation:- Assist in developing and executing sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed revenue and volume goals.- Monitor sales activities and adjust strategies as necessary to optimize performance, particularly focusing on increasing volumes and expanding market reach.- Customer Relationship Management:- Maintain and enhance relationships with key clients, including government entities and major accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and addressing issues promptly.- Market Analysis:- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.- Provide insights for strategic adjustments to maintain competitive positioning.- Reporting:- Prepare and present regular sales reports to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.- Track and report on key performance indicators, including volume-based goals and customer retention metrics.- Collaboration:- Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and customer service, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall company objectives.- Support the implementation of SEO and media strategies to enhance brand exposure and customer engagement.*Qualifications:*- Education:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.- Experience:- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.- Experience in the waste management industry or environmental services is highly preferred.*- Skills:*- Strong leadership and team management abilities.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.- Ability to analyze data and market trends effectively.- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.*Working Conditions:*- This position may require occasional travel within Puerto Rico to meet with clients or attend company events.- Standard office environment with the use of computer and phone systems.*Benefits:*- Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.- Retirement savings plan with company match.- Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.Application Process:Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and a cover letter detailing their qualifications and experience.EC Waste is an equal opportunity employer.
