We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Specialist to join our Finance & Accounting team during peak season. This role is primarily focused on Accounts Receivable functions, including invoicing, cash application, and reconciliations. The selected candidate will also support vendor invoice processing, financial reporting, and the monthly close process. The ideal candidate is proactive, data-driven, and comfortable leveraging technology and automation tools to improve efficiency and insights.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and issue accurate and timely customer invoices
Manage accounts receivable processes, including monitoring aging and resolving discrepancies
Process deposits and apply customer payments to the appropriate accounts
Reconcile monthly deposit transactions recorded in BPPR accounts
Perform revenue reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data
Support the monthly accounting close process, including account reconciliations and reporting
Assist with financial data analysis, including data extraction, transformation, and reporting
Identify opportunities to improve processes and leverage automation or AI tools to enhance efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales and Customer Service to resolve billing and payment issues
Manage vendor invoices, including receipt, coding, and applicable tax withholding
Create and maintain vendor records as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable or similar accounting functions
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation processes
Proficiency in accounting software
Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar platforms
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis
Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and data analysis
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Fully bilingual in English and SpanishPreferred QualificationsExperience in financial data analysis or business intelligence support
Familiarity with automation tools and process improvement initiatives
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
