
Senior Product Manager | Commerce and Local Payments

- Define and own the product vision and roadmap for commerce and local payment use cases (e.g., P2P, Bill Pay).
- Align product strategy with broader business goals and digital transformation initiatives
- Prioritize use cases based on customer needs, market trends, and business value.
- Serve as the product's P&L owner, accountable for adoption, performance, and cost-to-serve.
- Define and translate business needs into platform capabilities, including transaction limits, fraud checks, and directory services.
- Collaborate with technology teams to deliver scalable, secure, payment platforms.
- Collaborate with digital channel teams to ensure intuitive, customer-centric experiences across platforms.
- Translate regulatory requirements into product features and policies.
- Define and maintain risk controls such as dual authorization, transaction limits, and fraud mitigation along with Risk teams in the bank.
- Develop pricing strategies and bundling options to drive product adoption and revenue.
- Track efficiency metrics and cost-to-serve; identify opportunities for optimization.
- Partner with Marketing to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
- Work with Operations to define onboarding, servicing, and maintenance processes for clients.
- Ensure operational readiness for new features and enhancements.
- Establish KPIs such as activation rates, STP (straight-through processing), and engagement metrics.
- Partner with Digital and Marketing teams to drive adoption and improve user experience.
- Monitor performance and iterate based on data insights.
- Manage and mentor a team of product managers and analysts.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on innovation and execution.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and career development support.
- Maintain deep knowledge of Puerto Rico's payment ecosystem, including ATH Móvil and other local networks.
- Build relationships with local partners, including ATH Movil and other Puerto Rico-based providers.
- Stay informed on regional trends and innovations to ensure competitive positioning.
- Strong technical acumen: ability to put yourself in the shoes of customers, have a grasp of user experience and design with customers, business, and operations teams in mind. Robust with numbers, can ground your thinking in analysis, use data / key metrics to identify opportunities, deliver insights, test theories, and make data-driven recommendations to drive revenue growth and improve customer experience. Comfortable with complex systems, understanding common software architecture and data integration patterns. Know how to analyze and decompose a complex system and communicate that complexity simply and cleanly. Understanding other disciplines can bring everyone together and persuade a wide range of audiences using clear communication and strong structured thinking. - Operational/Regulations Processes: Knowledge of budget administration, resources allocation, organization's policies, and regulations. Ability to establish, conduct and track operational processes properly.
- Computer and Technological Skills: Proficient in MS Office 365 such as: MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Experience with tools such as: JIRA, Confluence; data visualization and design tools such as: Power BI, among others is desired.
