This role is pivotal in ensuring that the hotel attracts, retains, and develops top talent while maintaining a culture of excellence, engagement, and growth.Exemplify and lead the Company Service and Brand Culture initiatives
Act as the Strategic Business Partner and functional Subject Matter Expert to Senior Hotel Leadership
Align and execute People & Culture activities to Employee Value Proposition and Strategic plan
Oversee talent & culture initiatives, acting as a liaison between corporate office and hotel
Collaborate with corporate People & Culture function on key programs/initiatives
Lead and oversee the day-to-day operation of the People & Culture Department
Lead labor relations initiatives
Promote positive employee relations, overall employee experience, and drive employee engagement through an environment that encourages open communication, trust, mutual respect, and funQualifications4+ years' experience as a Director, People & Culture / Human Resources (in both union and non-union settings)
Passionate about promoting company values and creating programming that supports a positive workplace culture
Collaborative team player, with excellent influencing skills with the ability to build relationships easily amongst various stakeholder groups
Solid understanding of Puerto Rico employment laws
University/College degree in a related discipline, or combination of education and experience
Proven success in leading strategic initiatives that positively impact hotel KPIs
