We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Operador de montacargas to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment, including forklifts and clamp trucks, to facilitate the efficient movement of materials within our distribution center. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving processes, as well as adherence to safety regulations.*Responsibilities*
- Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently to load and unload materials.
- Perform order picking tasks using RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring that all materials are handled according to company standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to maintain an organized and efficient workspace.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Utilize warehouse management systems for tracking inventory levels and processing orders.
- Support the team in general warehouse duties, including materials handling and construction-related tasks.
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and materials handling techniques.
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes is essential.
- Previous roles in warehouse supervision or management are a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation and maintenance.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift.
