FOREMAN
JOB SUMMARY: Foreman must supervise construction teams engaged in construction activities, roads, dam, building, and/or general construction, repair, or maintenance. The purpose of the role of the General Foreman is to ensure the delivery of projects safely, on time, within budget and snag free. The post-holder will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and supervising the work of all site operatives.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Implement, supervise, and ensure compliance with ASI Mechanical Safety Program in the field activities.
  • Implement EHS initiatives in the field to enhance employee’s engagement with ASI Mechanical Safety Program.
  • Responsible to identify and develop Group Leaders in the field improving their professional development in ASI Mechanical.
  • Manage take-off’s, coordinate, receive and distribute materials to specified sections for future work.
  • Assist Project Managers and Assistant Project Manager in the preparation of Two-Week look ahead to plan the necessary material, equipment, and human resources to maintain the project schedule.
  • Recommends repairs, supervises the maintenance of tools and equipment, and determines work procedures.
  • Plans the hiring of project personnel to meet the operations’ needs.
  • Interprets, implements, and enforces regulatory requirements related to safety, environmental and industry standards.
  • Interprets plans, blueprints, shop drawings and sketches of proposed structures in terms of the relevant specifications.
  • Responsible for Labor Production Reports.
  • Reviews the work of skilled trade’s workers and equipment operators.
  • Maintains a constant drive to achieve production outputs to meet targets.
  • Making on-the-spot decisions.
  • Material control and ordering.
  • Material testing.
  • Practical experience in plumbing, chilled water systems and hvac preferred.
  • Performs other miscellaneous tasks as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineer
  • Excellent knowledge of construction operations and equipment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • OSHA 30 hours
  • Familiarity with blueprints
