Hvac Technician

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems and components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Install new equipment and upgrade existing systems as needed.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Respond to emergency service requests and troubleshooting issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• HVAC certification from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of documented experience in HVAC system operation, maintenance, and repair, including freezers and low-temperature refrigeration units.
• Valid HVAC licenses in accordance with industry standards.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC system components and controls.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical Requirements & Work Conditions
• • Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders or stairs.
• • Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• • Work may be performed in confined spaces, rooftops, mechanical rooms, and outdoor environments.
• • Exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, noise, and potentially hazardous materials.
• • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• • Availability to respond to emergency maintenance calls outside of regular working hours, including weekends or holidays if needed.
