Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly technical and results-driven Technical Services Packaging Scientist to lead and support advanced packaging process and technology solutions within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role is critical to the successful implementation of new packaging technologies, process validations, and continuous improvement initiatives, while ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and business objectives.The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally and lead strategic packaging projects that directly impact operational efficiency, product quality, and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of new packaging technologies and processes for new products and changes to existing packaging operations.
  • Identify and drive packaging process improvements focused on quality, efficiency, yield, and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide technical support to packaging operations for quality issues, deviations, and troubleshooting of complex process challenges.
  • Develop and execute validation and qualification strategies for packaging processes, equipment, and configurations.
  • Actively participate in and support regulatory inspections and audits, ensuring site readiness and compliance.
  • Lead or support Packaging Technology Transfer (Tech Transfer) activities, ensuring timely and compliant execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging projects meet business, quality, and compliance objectives.
QualificationsEducation
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience supporting or leading technical projects, packaging processes, and validations.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong ability to analyze and resolve complex technical problems, with both short- and long-term solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proactive, self-starter mindset with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and tools used in regulated manufacturing environments.
