- Deliver and facilitate cybersecurity courses aligned with industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CCNA) using existing platform and virtual lab resources.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field (Master's preferred).
- Active industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, or related).
- 2+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity.
- 1+ year of experience in adult education, online instruction, bootcamp facilitation, or technical training preferred.
- Required bilingual (Spanish-English) proficiency.
- Familiarity with virtual labs, e-learning platforms, and student tracking tools.
- Passion for mentoring underrepresented and non-traditional students, especially first-generation college students.
- Hybrid (remote instruction and in-person support sessions).
- Flexible schedule to accommodate learners with varying availability (evening/weekend sessions).
- Offer instructional support through both self-paced and facilitated online learning models.
- Conduct at least one weekly live hybrid support session to reinforce cybersecurity concepts, address student questions, and maintain engagement.
- Provide academic counseling and track individual student progress using mobile apps and learning management systems.
- Host monthly cohort meetings, Q&A sessions, and enrichment activities to foster community, engagement, and continuous learning.
- Support learners with different backgrounds, English proficiency levels, and life situations, applying a flexible and empathetic approach to mentorship.
- Collaborate with the Program Coordinator to monitor learner progress and intervene proactively when academic support is needed.
- Guide students toward certification exam readiness, successful exam completion, and, if desired, entrepreneurial paths supported by Atlantic University's Colosseum incubator.
- Participate in program evaluation activities and data reporting to improve instructional delivery and outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity threats, certifications, and instructional strategies.
