LifeDataHX is seeking an Interoperability Operations Specialist to support the onboarding, operations, and ongoing success of hospitals and health plans on the LifeDataHX interoperability platform. This role sits at the intersection of technical integration, operational excellence, and customer collaboration. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with HL7, C-CDA, SFTP, Mirth Connect, and healthcare IT stakeholders. This role is critical to ensuring reliable data exchange, high data quality, and operational transparency across the platform.Duties
- Lead and support technical onboarding of hospitals and health plans onto the LifeDataHX platform.
- Configure and manage SFTP connections (accounts, credentials, whitelisting, directory structures).
- Configure, deploy, and maintain Mirth Connect channels, including: Source and destination connectors, HL7 ADT, ORM, ORU, and C-CDA message flows,Transformers, filters, and routing logic.
- Validate inbound and outbound message flows during onboarding and go-live
- Coordinate testing, certification, and production cutover with customer IT teams Conducts technical training;
- Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
- Create and manage LifeDataHX platform users, roles, and access
- Support configuration of data feeds, subscriptions, and delivery rules
- Monitor daily data flows and ensure SLA compliance
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to: HL7 message parsing and structure, C-CDA ingestion and validation, Connectivity, transport, and delivery failures
- Assist in the analysis, design, and creation of operational and quality dashboards, including: Message volumes by type and source, Error rates and rejection reasons, Timeliness and delivery metrics, Compliance and completeness indicators.
- Support generation of recurring operational and quality reports for internal teams and customers.
- Help define and refine data quality KPIs and operational metrics
- Serve as a technical point of contact for hospitals and health plans during onboarding and ongoing operations.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with customer IT, interoperability, and operations teams.
- Participate in troubleshooting calls and root-cause analysis discussions.
- Clearly document issues, resolutions, and best practices.
- Diagnose problems or malfunctions and accomplish repairs in a minimal amount of time.
- Make independent decisions quickly in emergency situations.
- Communicate in English by phone or in person in a one-to-one or group setting.
- Comprehend and make inferences from material written in the English language, and understand and follow complex schematics, circuit diagrams,and related documents.
- Learn job-related material through oral instruction, observation, structured lecture, and reading.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as computer software programs, hardware installation instructions, computer operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports. Ability to speak effectively before the general public and employees of the organization.
