Our vision is to be the most reliable insurance company through commitment to our people, prioritizing exceptional customer experience, and maintaining unwavering financial stability.We are excited for you to join our amazing team!The OpportunityResponsible for managing payments, adjustments, deposits, and the application of these.A day in the life...Register the payments received (checks and ACH) in the corresponding systems.
Prepare the required documentation for issuing payments for premium refunds (overpayments, duplicates, agency/broker payments, among others).
Log the information, notify and request other departments, as applicable, to correct errors found in the payment applications in the different underwriting areas.
Communicate to other departments the request for reinstatement due to the payment received for the deposit and/or canceled policies.
Digitize/index documents in FileNet, according to the stipulated processes.
Support other areas or positions as required.
Perform any other function and/or task assigned by your supervisor according to the department's needs.What you will need for successBachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
Two (2) years of experience in roles within the accounting department.
Preferably with experience in the insurance industry and/or financial institution.Physical DemandsAbility to stay in stationary positions for 90% of the time (sitting, and/or standing).
Ability to move frequently around the office to access files, electronic equipment and serve the public.
Ability to perform slight movements (Loads of 10 pounds or less, pushing).
Maintains constant communication with customers and employees and is able to exchange accurate information. (Written and Oral).
Maintains constant eye contact 20 inches or less away for more than 6 hours a day when working on a computer 90% of the time. Ability to visually process writing and other materials.
It constantly works indoors and under air conditioning in regulated temperature.
