INTEGRA Design Group is an Architecture and Engineering (A/E) firm headquartered in Puerto Rico, with offices in Charlotte, NC, Alexandria, VA and the Dominican Republic.Job DescriptionINTEGRA is currently looking for a Structural Engineer to join our team in San Juan, PR. The successful candidate will take on an active role working directly under the structural engineering department assisting in a wide variety of infrastructure projects including Buildings and Places, seismic evaluation and retrofit, Transmission and Distribution Power Lines, Substations, Water Treatment Facilities, Bridges and other site features.Duties & Responsibilities· Evaluate and assess damages and conditions of existing buildings and bridges· Perform structural loads calculations including service, wind and seismic according to current and applicable codes and standards.· Structural modeling, analysis and design of various structural systems including Reinforced Concrete, HR Steel, Cold-formed Steel, masonry, shallow and deep foundations.· Seismic detailing of components and structural systems.· Manage analysis software including Etabs, SAFE, RISA 3D, L-Pile and produce calculation sheets using Excel and MathCad.· Manage drafting and BIM tools (AutoCad and Revit).· Prepare plans, specifications, and construction estimates.· Review drawings and participate in constant interdisciplinary meetings with in-house architectural, civil and MEP departments.· Review of submittals and requests for information of contractors during construction.· Technical writing for building assessments and proposals.· Make periodic site visits as required.· Attends meetings and interacts with clients.· Other duties as assigned.Requirements· Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.· MSCE with focus in Structural Engineering (Preferred but not required)· Basic knowledge in building codes and standards including ASCE-7, ACI 318, AISC, AASHTO....· 4-5+ years of experience are preferred.
