We are seeking a Process Development Scientist to join a leading biotechnology team. The ideal candidate will work with complex datasets to support product development, process optimization, and new product introductions. You will apply advanced analytical methods to solve non-routine scientific problems and provide actionable insights to improve processes and ensure product quality.Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform end-to-end data analysis, including data gathering, cleaning, processing, and interpretation.
  • Work with large and complex datasets to support process development and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Apply statistical and mathematical techniques to analyze experimental and manufacturing data (linear models, multivariate analysis, stochastic models).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define analysis requirements and present results effectively.
  • Support the development and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to data analysis and process documentation.
  • Contribute to data-driven improvements in manufacturing processes.
  • Utilize and maintain data systems such as OSIsoft PI, Spotfire, OVDAS, or similar.
Qualifications:
  • Doctorate or Master's in Life Sciences, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field + 2 years of scientific experience OR Bachelor's degree + 4 years of relevant scientific experience.
  • Experience with data analysis in scientific or manufacturing environments.\Proficiency with statistical software (e.g., R, MATLAB, SAS, JMP, Minitab) and database languages (e.g., SQL).
  • Knowledge of statistical methods including linear modeling, multivariate analysis, and stochastic models.
  • Ability to articulate complex problems and solutions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in regulated or GMP manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with aseptic processing equipment, process validation, and equipment qualification.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
