- Repair, maintain and installs wiring, motors, transformers, generators, lighting, appliances, circuits, wiring and other electrical systems and components in compliance with electrical codes, standards and regulations.
- Operates a variety of electrical testing equipment in locating and determining types of electrical malfunctions and diagnosis.
- Inspect and test electrical systems, including fuses, transformers, and circuit breakers.
- Diagnose and address functionality and safety issues.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Repair and replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
- Ensure all installations comply with local and national electrical codes.
- Must Document repairs and modifications.
- Manage and mentor apprentice electricians.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure proper installation of electrical systems.
- Valid and current Puerto Rico Electrician's License (Perito Electricista).
- Four (3) + years of direct experience in the role in GMP facility (Pharma, Medical Device )
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety regulations.
- Experience with various testing devices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical/Associate Degree in Electricity
