- Provide on site IT support and infrastructure operations for the manufacturing plant
- Local Site management of end user devices (Windows, iOS, mobile platforms)
- Local Site Management of Network infrastructure (Cisco switches/routers, Fortine firewalls, wireless access points)
- Provide Local hands on and engagement on maintenances of globally managed assets
- Management of Local servers (Windows Server, Hyper-V, storage systems)
- Support of Microsoft Teams meeting room technologies including Polycom
- Support and configuration of printers and peripheral devices including integrations with software such as PaperCut
- Act as the primary technical interface for global IT teams managing platforms such as Azure, M365, and enterprise applications
- Provide mentorship and guidance to staff or contractors
- Maintain and optimize asset inventory, lifecycle management, and hardware/software standards
- Oversee vendor and contractor activities related to IT installations and repairs
- Ensure compliance with corporate safety, environmental, and cybersecurity policies
- Document and improve support processes, contribute to knowledge base, and lead root cause analysis efforts
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning at the site level
- Participate in regional and global IT initiatives and represent site IT needs
- Places software and hardware into production and maximizes its use by training users & answering questions.
- Provides first level support and hands on resourcing
- Provides answers to clients by identifying problems; researching answers; guiding client through corrective steps.
- Maintains a support documentation for local specifics and regional standards.
- Liaising with Global and Regional peers & vendors
- Evaluates system potential by testing compatibility of new programs with existing programs.
- Performs computer configurations and installation of computer and network equipment with configuration in alignment with company standards.
- Maintains historical records by documenting hardware and software changes and revisions.
- Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Actively maintains and grows professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
- Complies with all FDA Regulations for the Tobacco Industry
- Keeps areas clean and organized following the 6S principles.
- Complies with safety and security regulations.
- Meets each of the Environmental Policy and Company Commitment requirements and thus promote the preservation of the environment and natural resources.

- BS IT Engeneering, Administration of Information Technology or Information Systems
- 3 years' experience in a Help Desk or similar position.
- Problem Solving
- LAN Knowledge, Verbal Communication, Operating Systems, Phone Skills, Customer Service, Quality Focus, Proficiency in PC's and Presenting Technical Information, Process Improvement, Software Maintenance, Software Testing
- A+, N+ Certification is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with operating in alignment with ITIL Version 3 or 4
- ITIL Certification
- Bilingual (Spanish and English)
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Knowledge in programing languages such as UB Net, MS Access and SQL
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical data
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations
- Knowledgeable of QAD systems, Workday, Microsoft Office Suite, Visio and other related software's
- Windows 10 configuration
- Supports for copy, printing and fax machines
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and in oral
- Ability to communicate to all levels including management in person or telephone to provide information, feedback and advice
