General Purpose of the PositionThe content creator will develop and create multimedia content for print, digital media or product descriptions. Well-researched and accurate multimedia content will be produced on tight deadlines. The content creator will communicate with leadership, clients and potential interview sources. Must follow company and client editorial style guide. Excellent writing, spelling and understanding of grammar are essential to the role. Video and photo production, basic editing and post-productions is a requirement. Basic graphic design is a plus.Principal Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the creation of concise, striking and innovative headlines and texts.
  • Write a wide variety of topics for multiple platforms (website, blogs, articles, social updates, banners, case studies, guides, books, newsletters, etc.)
  • Responsible for producing, coordinating, recording and editing videos and photos as requested.
  • Responsible for the development of basic design pieces such as ads, posts or stories, among others.
  • Research and organize facts and sources.
  • Collaborate with the team in the search for new ideas and strategies.
  • Research markets and industries to compare and create innovative and original content.
  • Collaborate with campaign managers, creative team, and designers.
  • Other Related functions can be assigned.

  • BA Degree from an accredited college or university with preferable coursework in writing or marketing, such as, Journalism, English or related field Preferred. Minimum one (2) year direct experience in writing for advertising/marketing agencies, public relations, media or journals.
  • Mastery of verbal and written communication skills that allow you to express yourself clearly in English and Spanish with internal or external staff and of any hierarchical level.
  • Strong demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat).
  • Creative and innovative thinker and planner.
  • Confident in producing work across multiple platforms.
  • Familiarity with keyword placement, analysis and SEO.
  • Able to align multiple brand strategies and ideas.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or cloud office software. Proficiency with Mac computer platforms preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Aptitude for strategic thinking and a strong sense of ownership in the area of responsibility.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain effective working relationships while serving a large number of Metrical Clients and Internal departments.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of art and graphics principles.
  • Knowledge of various graphics equipment (office printers, paper cutter, laminator, oversize printer).
  • Ability to visually interpret the needs of individuals requiring illustrative services.
  • The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and be a problem-solver.
