- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Responsible for providing a high level of service in our bar area, ensuring that guests enjoy their time with us.
- Take and serve drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by attending to their needs promptly.
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.
- Follow standardized recipes and hotel guidelines for beverage preparation.
- Ensure all beverages are presented attractively and meet the hotel's quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including countertops, equipment, and glassware.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate cash register records and report any discrepancies to the Manager.
- Work closely with other bar staff and hotel team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with training new staff as required.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving service and efficiency.
- Must adhere to all relevant health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
- At the end of every closing shift secure liquor, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas. Complete closing duties.
- Prepare a daily purchasing list to maintain a healthy inventory level as directed by the manager.
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the supervisor; and complete safety training and certifications.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
- Hospitality oriented
- Previous experience as a Bar Attendant.
- Certification in Responsible Service of Alcohol or equivalent is preferred.
- Able to handle difficult situations effectively.
- Able to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Technical beverage knowledge and expertise.
- Fully bilingual (English and Spanish)
