Kindergarten Teacher Assistant

• High school diploma or GED (minimum); Associate's degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education often preferred
• Completion of Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent (in some states/districts)
• Basic training in child growth and development

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with young children, teachers, and parents
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to manage classroom behavior positively
• Ability to support lesson delivery, group activities, and individual student needs
• Organizational skills for helping with classroom materials and routines
• Observation skills to monitor student progress and behavior

• Prior experience working with children in early childhood settings (daycare, preschool, tutoring, volunteering) preferred
• Knowledge of basic child safety and first aid practices
