Collins Aerospace's Resilient Connectivity Products (RCP) team is looking for an exceptionally motivated RF Electrical Engineer that is passionate about collaborating with high-performance teams to create mission critical solutions supporting Mission Systems.This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.This role is categorized as hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager.What YOU will do:
  • Design and development of transmitters, receivers, or exciters.
  • Design and optimization of RF circuits – either chains of components (receiver, exciter, etc.) or individual parts (filters, limiters, couplers, etc.).
  • Schematic capture and RF routing.

Qualifications you must have:
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (RF/Electronic Design Focus)
  • Experience with Microwave/RF system, subsystem and/or component analysis, design and/or test.
  • Background designing, testing, and troubleshooting analog and Radio Frequency CCAs.
  • Integration and test of CCAs and subsystems.
  • Hands-on experience with design simulation tools such as ADS or Microwave Office and Mentor Graphics' Xpedition and analytical tools such as Matlab or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a laboratory environment using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, phase noise analyzer (PNA), spectrum analyzers, real time spectrum analyzers, and performance network analyzers to test and verify the functions of digital and RF signal circuits and subsystems.
