This gives them credibility and a deep understanding of daily operations.Business Knowledge: They must understand the company's policies, procedures, and service standards. For example, in a hotel, they should know how to manage reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and property management systems.Systems Skills: They must be proficient in the management software or technological tools used by the company (e.g., PMS in hotels, appointment management system in clinics).Interpersonal and Leadership SkillsExcellent Communication Skills: Communication is key. A good leader must be able to clearly communicate expectations, give instructions, and effectively resolve conflicts with both the team and clients.Problem-Solving Skills: They must be able to think quickly and defuse high-pressure situations, such as customer complaints or unexpected operational issues.Empathy and Patience: A team leader must be understanding of the team's and clients' needs, handling difficult situations calmly and respectfully.Leadership and Mentoring: They must have the ability to motivate, guide, and empower team members.
