Reporting to the Chief Financial and Business Development Officer, the Financial Planning & Analysis Lead is responsible for leading institutional financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis.This role partners closely with executive leadership to deliver timely financial insights, forward-looking projections, and data-driven recommendations that support institutional growth, operational efficiency, and long-term financial sustainability.REQUIREMENTS
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, or strategic financial analysis.
- Experience developing advanced financial models.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools.
- Experience with financial ERP systems.
- Professional proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Experience in higher education or other highly regulated environments.
- Knowledge of tuition modeling and higher education financial structures.
- Lead the annual institutional and capital budgeting process.
- Develop multi-year financial forecasts and scenario modeling.
- Partner with academic and administrative units in budget planning.
- Monitor budget performance and conduct variance analysis (budget vs. actual).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis for executive leadership.
- Analyze tuition revenue, grants, clinical operations, and other institutional revenue streams.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities for operational optimization.
- Build KPI dashboards for leadership and executive team.
- Conduct program-level profitability analysis.
- Vacation Leave: accrual of hours per month, starting after 120 hours worked.
- Sick Leave: accrual of hours per month, starting after 120 hours worked.
- Holidays: approximately 18 days per year, according to the academic calendar.
- Medical Plan: participation in the group medical plan, to which the employer contributes $3, annually.
- Retirement Plan: the employer contributes 5% of the employee's annual base salary.
- Life Insurance: twice the annual base salary; optional supplemental insurance available. Short- and Long-Term Disability Insurance.
