If your answer is yes, FirstBank is the number one place for you.A Brief OverviewExecute manual and automated test cases and support the testing process for business transformation projects and initiatives, ensuring quality and compliance of banking applications and platforms. Act as a subject matter expert, coordinating, planning, monitoring, and controlling testing activities, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve project objectives.What You'll Do· Execute manual and automated test cases as assigned.· Document and report defects, working with the team to ensure resolution.· Support test planning, preparation, and test data setup.· Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements.· Participate in UAT and other testing phases.· On occasions, the Test Specialist may be requested to lead the testing strategy for particular initiatives.· Collaborate with Test Manager, business analysts, and developers.· Maintain test documentation updated and available for auditors and future reference.· Review and provide feedback on project requirements to understand testing efforts.· Ensure test environments are ready and maintained.· Track and report testing activities, coverage, defects, and performance baselines.· Escalate issues about project requirements (software, hardware, resources) as needed.· Ensure timely delivery of testing milestones.· Organize and communicate testing status and progress to management.· Maintain emphasis on early identification and rectification of problems and schedule deviations.· Ensure all testing documents are documented and maintained for audit and future reference.· Follow and comply with all corporate policies and guidelines.· Assist with special projects and reports as requested.· Perform other duties as assigned.Competencies:· Write, speak, and comprehend English· Attention to detail and analytical skills.· Familiarity with software testing tools and methodologies.· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.What You'll Need to Succeed:An Associate Degree in computer science, engineering or related field. Minimum 2 year of experience in software testing or quality assurance. Experience in banking or financial services, preferred.
