Eh&S Specialist

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct and lead Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and applicable local and federal safety standards.
• Perform safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Provide safety training and awareness programs to employees and contractors.
• Support emergency response planning and drills.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to safety performance and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in safety practices.
• Ensure compliance and update the EHS programs documentation

• Fully bilingual (English & Spanish) – strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• 5+ years of experience in safety roles within industrial, construction, or port environments.
• Demonstrated experience developing procedures for Confined Spaces.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and hazard identification.
• OSHA 30-Hour Certification (required); additional safety certifications are a plus.

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or related field + 5 years of experience, OR
• High School Diploma + 10+ years of direct safety experience
• Experienced in JHA, Confined Spaces among others.
• Experienced developing and implementing EHS procedures adn safety policies.

• Additional certifications such as OSHA among others.
• Strong leadership and training facilitation skills.
• Knowledge of emergency preparedness and incident command systems.
