Eh&S Specialist

• *Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures. *
• Conduct and lead *Job Safety Analysis (JSA)* and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with *OSHA* regulations and applicable local and federal safety standards.
• Perform safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Provide safety training and awareness programs to employees and contractors.
• Support emergency response planning and drills.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to safety performance and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in safety practices.
• Ensure compliance and update the EHS programs documentation

• *Fully bilingual (English & Spanish)* – strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• *5+ years of experience* in safety roles within industrial, construction, or port environments.
• Demonstrated experience developing procedures for *Confined Spaces*.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with *Job Safety Analysis (JSA)* and hazard identification.
• *OSHA 30-Hour Certification (required)*; additional safety certifications are a plus.

• *Bachelor's Degree* in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or related field *+ 5 years of experience*, *OR*
• *High School Diploma + 10+ years of direct safety experience *
• Experienced in JHA, Confined Spaces among others.
• Experienced developing and implementing EHS procedures adn safety policies.

• Additional certifications such as *OSHA *among others.
• Strong leadership and training facilitation skills.
• Knowledge of emergency preparedness and incident command systems.
