We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent service to our guests.Duties
- Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
- Support banquet operations by ensuring that all necessary items are clean and ready for service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining dining area cleanliness during busy service periods.
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as needed, including cooking or catering tasks.
- Experience in hospitality or hotel settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
