- Process 100–200 invoices/day to maintain carryover within 24 hours for AP invoices and 7 days for portal invoices.
- Accurately enter invoice and payment data into the database, ensuring precision and consistency.
- Label and document invoice payment details systematically for clear records and easy retrieval.
- Process and enter credit card payments for invoices, accurately coding each payment for tracking.
- Assist in downloading documents from faxes, emails, and portal links, and organize files effectively.
- Verify check processing details and enter them into the database, maintaining complete and accurate records.
- Identify and resolve high-invoice deficiencies by following established curing protocols.
- Make and answer phone calls from medical facilities and address inquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the supervisor and relevant case management team members for timely resolution.
- Collaborate effectively within the department and with other teams to support operational goals.
- Safeguard client PHI and uphold confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and internal standards.
- Report to work punctually and adhere to the scheduled hours consistently.
- Engage in performance and quality improvement initiatives, offering input for process enhancements.
- Document and update daily status reports, as required, to support workflow tracking and accountability.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Understanding of medical billing/record workflows.
- Experience in billing, accounting, or administrative support (preferred).
