Job Description:Job Description: Salesforce Administrator / Application Specialist to administer, configure, and support Salesforce solutions, including Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.This role is responsible for managing platform operations, implementing enhancements, supporting releases, and ensuring system stability.The position works closely with business and technical teams to deliver scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with business needs and operates independently in a contract, client-facing environment.ResponsibilitiesSalesforce Administration & Configuration
  • Manage Salesforce users, roles, profiles, permission sets, and access controls
  • Configure Salesforce components including custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, and validation rules
  • Design and implement automation using Salesforce Flow and approval processes
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize reports and dashboards
Application Development & Lifecycle Management
  • Participate in all phases of the application development and maintenance lifecycle
  • Define application scope, objectives, and prepare technical and functional specifications
  • Translate business requirements into Salesforce and system solutions
  • Maintain a backlog of enhancements and manage the change request process
  • Conduct design reviews and support configuration and code reviews
Data Management & Integration
  • Perform data imports and exports while ensuring ongoing data quality
  • Support integrations with external systems using APIs or middleware tools
  • Assess data structures and support data planning initiatives
Release & Environment Management
  • Manage sandbox environments, deployments, and release processes
  • Ensure appropriate testing (unit and system testing) prior to production deployment
  • Maintain development, testing, and production environments
Support & Operations
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide end-user support
  • Coordinate on-call support and ensure effective system monitoring
  • Maintain overall system stability and performance
Collaboration, Leadership & Documentation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, design discussions, and troubleshooting efforts
  • Lead small to medium-sized initiatives or enhancements
  • Mentor team members as applicable
  • Support vendor evaluations and solution assessments
  • Document configurations, processes, system changes, and technical designs
RequirementsMinimum of 5 years of experience working with business applications and technical platformsBachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator (Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud)Experience managing releases, sandbox environments, and deploymentsExperience in data management and data quality practicesExperience supporting integrations with external systemsStrong troubleshooting and application support experienceAbility to work independently in a client-facing, consulting environmentStrong verbal and written communication skills (English required; Spanish preferred)Technical Skills
  • Salesforce Administration (Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud)
  • Salesforce security model (roles, profiles, permission sets)
  • Salesforce configuration: custom objects, fields, validation rules, page layouts, record types
  • Automation using Salesforce Flow and approval processes
  • Reporting and dashboard development
