*Mitel Distributing Corp., *a leader company in the field of industrial weighing, instrumentation, and metrology for over 60 years, is seeking a self-motivated Field Service Technician for Industrial installations and repairs to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be primarily focused on the inspection, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of industrial scales, retail scales, and truck scales at various customer locations.*Key Responsibilties*

*Calibration and Repair:* Inspect, maintain, calibrate, and repair both mechanical and electronic weighing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
*Customer Service:* Work directly with clients, providing excellent service and timely updates throughout the service process.
*Documentation:* Collect and document calibration data, ensuring records are accurate and compliant with industry standards.
*Safety Compliance:* Follow all safety guidelines and customer GMPs while performing duties.
*Travel:* Travel to different customer locations across Puerto Rico, and potentially the Caribbean, to perform on-site service and repairs. Availability for on-call evening and weekend shifts is required.

*Basic Qualifications:*

Associate's degree in electronics, industrial maintenance, or a related field preferred.
Minimum one year experience as Industrial Equipment Technician
Previous experience in calibrating and servicing industrial weighing equipment.
Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain a Class B CDL within six months of employment.
Active Passport
Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more and to work in various environments (indoor and outdoor).
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new skills.
Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail. (Spanish and English)

*Preferred Qualifications:*

Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
Experience with troubleshooting in metrology and calibration environments.
