Full Job DescriptionLife Sciences and Scientific equipment sales and services company, located P.R., is looking for a Field Service TechnicianPOSITION PURPOSE: Perform skilled electro-mechanical and precision instrumentation field service duties to laboratory equipment as part of maintenance, calibration, and repair activities at customer locations throughout the island of PR.DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform installation, start-up, calibration, maintenance, diagnostic, and repair to laboratory equipment in an effective and efficient manner.
Provide excellent customer level technical support in person at customer locations and remotely via phone and/or email. Maintain business relationships by promoting customer loyalty through service excellence.
Complete assigned field calls according to priority while executing proper time management.
Coordinate with office dispatchers and keep them informed of all re-route activity as required.
Complete service training seminars as required by equipment manufacturers.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:

Technical degree in Biomedical Sciences, Instrumentation Technology, Industrial Mechanics, or Electronic Technology
6 years' experience in technical service of Laboratory and/or Scientific equipment such as Autoclaves, Glassware-Washers, Incubators, Stability Chambers, Biochemistry Analyzers, and Water Purification Systems is highly desired.
MUST be bilingual English and Spanish (speak, write).
Possess a valid PR Driver's License and Own a car in good condition.
Willing to travel outside of PR to attend equipment manufacturers training seminars.
Excellent proactive interpersonal, written, verbal communication and team skills.
