- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including threat intelligence vendors and law enforcement agencies by serving as a liaison sharing information to enhance threat intelligence to improve the organization's security posture.
- Gather data from various sources such as open-source intelligence, industry reports, threat feeds, internal logs, and dark web monitoring to build a comprehensive picture of potential threats.
- Conduct in-depth research and perform investigations into potential and existing security threats from known and emerging threat actors.
- Analyze collected data to identify patterns, motivations, and capabilities of cyber fraudsters, evaluating the likelihood and potential impact of threats.
- Providing expert analysis and advice on potential security incidents and contributing to the development of security strategies and plans.
- Develop proactive security measures based on threat intelligence, including prevention mechanisms and awareness campaigns to reduce risk exposure.
- Develop reports for leaders regarding the effectiveness of Cyber-Fraud Fusion Threat Intelligence and make recommendations regarding new policies and procedures.
- Convert actionable threat intelligence reports detailing identified threats, TTPs, potential indicators of compromise (IOCs), and mitigation strategies for relevant stakeholders. Operationalize information gathered from vendors to mitigate losses.
- Work closely with fraud prevention units to share threat intelligence and integrate it into existing security controls.
- Stay current with the latest trends and developments in cybersecurity and fraud prevention.
