Responsibilities:Assist in the planning and execution of banquet events, ensuring all details align with guest expectations and service standards.Collaborate with the Banquet Manager to develop event timelines, floor plans, and staffing needs.Supervise, schedule, train, and review banquet staff, providing guidance and support to deliver exceptional guest experiences.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during events, addressing requests and resolving issues promptly and professionally.Oversee the setup and breakdown of banquet rooms, ensuring compliance with safety, cleanliness, and presentation standards.Monitor inventory levels of banquet supplies and equipment, coordinating orders as needed.Liaise with other departments (e.g., Sales, Front Desk, Culinary) to ensure smooth communication and flawless event delivery.Assist in preparing event budgets and forecasts, monitoring expenses to remain within established guidelines.Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, sanitation practices, operational standards, and company policies.Promote a professional and collaborative work environment by maintaining positive relationships, upholding professional appearance standards, and supporting team goals.Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.Assist in any other duties as assigned by upper management. Qualifications:
  • Hospitality oriented
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Banquet or Event Management, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent verbal / written communications and skills
  • Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Must be able to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Fully bilingual (Spanish and English).
