*About the Role*We are seeking an experienced *Director of Supply Chain Inventory & Purchasing* to lead all supply chain operations for our Distribution Center in Puerto Rico. This role is critical in ensuring a reliable flow of pharmaceutical and medical products, while driving efficiency, compliance, and cost optimization.As the Director, you will oversee *supplier management, demand and supply planning, inbound/export logistics, and financial oversight*, while leading a team of professionals to excellence.*Key Responsibilities*

Lead end-to-end supply chain activities, including purchasing, demand planning, supplier management, logistics, and compliance.
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships; negotiate distribution agreements and drive KPI performance.
Oversee the *S&OP and Demand Planning process*, aligning with commercial teams and integrating market intelligence.
Lead supply planning strategies to ensure *optimal inventory levels* and service level compliance.
Manage *inbound and export logistics*, including transportation, customs clearance, and free trade zone compliance.
Own and manage the supply chain budget, identifying cost-reduction initiatives and process improvement projects.
Drive revenue generation through negotiation of favorable distribution agreements.
Ensure database integrity for suppliers, products, and pricing.
Provide leadership and coaching to the supply chain team, setting clear goals and fostering professional growth.
Collaborate in *strategic planning* and digital transformation initiatives across the organization.

*Qualifications*

*Bachelor's degree* in Industrial Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
*7+ years of experience* in supply chain, purchasing, or strategic operations roles.
Fully bilingual (*Spanish & English*).
Strong proficiency in *MS Excel and data-driven decision-making*.
Proven leadership and team management experience.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Operational Excellence or continuous improvement experience is a plus.
