And are equally committed to creating a healthier environment and planet through our sustainability efforts.Job SummaryIn this role, you will support the execution of transportation and warehousing related activities of Global Logistics, Air, Ocean, Road, Parcel, and Warehousing operations. The focus will be on coordinating tasks in support of efficient and consistent logistics operations and support processes. The role is responsible for ensuring Global Logistics provides effective support to internal and external stakeholders.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Works with West sites and 3rd party service providers to resolve issues and questions that arise regarding day-to-day logistics execution
Responsible for tracking and tracing global shipments ensuring goods are moving according to contracted transit times and escalating potential late shipments to applicable stakeholders and transport partners to ensure we have proactive visibility. Works with Global Logistics team members on resolutions to minimize compliance exposure and optimize costs
Initiates freight claims with applicable logistics partners ensuring proper investigation and reimbursements are received timely
Assists with identifying and rectifying billing and invoice issues
Maintain and, as necessary, retrieves required records relating to transportation and warehousing affairs
Assists with gathering data for use in transport analysis and setting up new storage locations
Maintain a listing of dangerous good materials and their associated shipping requirements and restrictions
Other duties as assigned
Additional ResponsibilitiesEducation
Associate's Degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics or other relevant field, or equivalent related experience required
Work Experience
No min required or a maximum of 3 years of related experience required

Awareness of high-level transportation and warehousing industry standards
Awareness of IncoTerms (2010 and 2020)
Strong learning and analytical ability
