- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Validate user stories from the projects assigned within the service level previously agreed upon.
- Create and maintain test documentation such as test scripts, test cases, testing results, and defects.
- Stay updated with best practices and trends in software testing for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with business users to validate that the software meets their requirements and expectations through test cases based on the acceptance criteria defined in user stories.
- Ensure that software updates and changes do not negatively impact existing functionalities through regression testing.
- Collaborate with developers to include all new or critical functionalities in the automation testing process.
- Participate in staging and production deployments and perform sanity checks to ensure no negative impact on existing functionalities after deployment.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field required.
- Two (2) years of experience in a similar position required. Experience in the banking industry is highly desirable.
- Minimum education and experience required can be substituted with the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
- Excellent analytical abilities to grasp the key points from complicated details.
- Flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks with varying priorities and deadlines at the same time.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and other business applications required. Knowledge of SAP Business Objects is highly desirable.
- Fully bilingual - Spanish and English (verbal and written) required.
- Goal oriented and capable of completing tasks with minimum supervision.
- Legally authorized to work in the US is required. This position is of indefinite duration and requires candidates to have permanent or ongoing work authorization.
- Employee is responsible for maintaining eligible work authorization throughout his tenure with the organization.
