DescriptionOur client a trusted Multinational Company in the financial sector is hiring their Legal Manager. This position reports directly to the In-House & Chief Compliance Officer. This role provides legal advice in the implementation of policies to support Business operations. Compliance and regulatory functions are key responsibilities of the position.Responsibilities:

Develop a plan to comply with applicable laws and regulations
Monitors the regulatory compliance implementation and provides guidelines to support business units.
Supervision of the Vendor management administration process
Interprets and implement new laws and regulations in business units.
Advise on legal and regulatory requirements applicable to the industry.
Advise on corporate governance.
Draft and review vendor agreements.
Review contracts terms and conditions.
Coordinates and perform notary work for the Corporation and maintains the local Notary Bar.
Participate in the Enterprise Risk Management Committee.

Requirements

Juris Doctor
Puerto Rico Bar license
Puerto Rico Notary Bar
5 plus years of relevant experience
Fully bilingual
