You’ll be part of a purpose-driven team that supports water treatment systems across diverse industries. You’ll work hands-on in the field, building trusted relationships with customers and delivering solutions that protect vital resources and improve operational performance.How You’ll Make an Impact:Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives in strategic district accounts to execute agreed upon customer system assurance and continuous improvement plansAssist Sales Representatives with plant surveys of prospective customersAssist Sales Representatives with start-ups of new applications in both existing customers and in new accountsDevelop strong relationships with the key stakeholders in the strategic district accounts where you provide service support to other District Sales Representatives.Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer pain points, escalating as required.Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levelsSupport services include Sample testing, maintenance, customer service, service report generation, chemical inventory management, general labor activitiesTravel within assigned sales territoryDeliver expert service and support for water treatment and process systemsMonitor chemical usage and system performance to ensure optimal operationTroubleshoot and resolve equipment and treatment issues with a focus on cost-effective solutionsConduct preventive maintenance and repairs to maximize equipment uptimeMaintain accurate service documentation and communicate clearly with customersCollaborate with internal teams to continuously improve service deliveryWhat’s Unique About This Role:You’ll operate independently in a dynamic field environment, supported by a team that values your expertiseYou’ll work with cutting-edge technologies and industry-leading training to stay aheadYou’ll help customers meet sustainability goals while protecting their critical assetsMinimum Qualifications:Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical) or Science (Chemist)Position requires a current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictionsExperience in a technical service role, ideally with water treatment systems or in industrial/mechanical environments.No immigration sponsorship availablePhysical Demands:Position requires working in confined spaces and extreme conditions (hot, cold, damp, dusty)Position requires lifting, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and standing for extended periodsPreferred Qualifications:Associate’s degree in chemistry, mechanical systems, or related fieldHands-on plumbing experience and familiarity with industrial equipmentExperience with boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systemsKnowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pumping systemsProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteWhat’s in it For You:Starting on Day 1: Access to our comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, matching 401K, company-paid pension, stock purchase plan, paid parental leave, select discounted childcare resources, and more!The opportunity to take on some of the world’s most meaningful challenges, helping customers achieve clean water, safe food, and healthy environmentsThe ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growthThe support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our bestEcolab is committed to fair and equal treatment of associates and applicants and furthering the principles of Equal Opportunity to Employment.
